6, but not 7

I learned today that although I can ride the rollers for six seconds with my eyes closed while listening to "Aqualung," I can not for seven seconds without sliding not so gently off the right side.  It is not clear what the outcome would be if listening to "Killing me Softly With His Song."




Since this is a post about having ones eyes closed, I think I am entitled to use a photo of Sophia Loren . . .

    The trick to riding rollers is riding them enough to the point where your form is buttery smooth. The last time I rode rollers was about 5 years ago. That was before the Pugsley. Now I never ride inside. But there was a time I rode them often enough that I could ride no-handed for 30-45 minutes at a time. It's about turning perfect circles and becoming part of the bike.

    Hi,
    Were you riding on Jean Duluth road at 2 PM yesterday? I saw an oarnge bike heading north. I was going to honk but I didnt want to freak you out and you wouldnt know who I was anyway!

    It's Mr. haha...I went for a really nice ride on Caribou Lake, after I saw you. I've been riding on all of the plowed access roads for the fish houses. Cant get too much mileage that way but it's fun to get out on the lakes. Then I went under a gate at the north end terminus of Midway Road and down this nicely plowed road where it was rumored by my neighbors that the county throws all of the roadkill. Well I can confirm that is true. I could only guess how many deer were below the snow, but many were out and exposed. I didnt have a camera on me....an interesting site...lots of eagles. I'll honk next time.
